Ashley is the Communications Coordinator for Cinema Ed, a 501(c)3 non-profit film and media organization that focuses on using independent film as a teaching tool. She is also a Media Studies/Journalism major at Rutgers University and this is her first time at the Austin Film Festival. Ashley is excited to be coordinating the HBO-sponsored AFF panel, presented by Cinema Ed: “The Path to Inclusivity: Empowering Young Filmmakers” (Saturday at 4:30). Her work in the field of communications has brought her to many places, but Austin is where she hopes to connect with many others who are interested in creating a space for young filmmakers to flourish. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing experience.
