Pixar Animation Studios has a story development process that is unique in the industry. In this panel, Matt Aldrich, co-writer of Coco, and Mike Jones, who has written for several Pixar movies, will describe the intensely collaborative way writers work with directors and story artists. Development Executives Mary Coleman and Emily Mollenkopf will walk you through how Pixar scouts writers, matches them with directors, then supports them in creating engaging characters, believable worlds, and compelling stories.
