Despite all the talk, the current state of diversity in the film and tv industry still has a long way to go. One powerful solution is to start at the beginning - with young filmmakers. Come listen to a panel of industry experts explore ways we can all transform the business through mentorship of young talent. A panelist from HBO, with ground-breaking shows like Insecure and Random Acts of Flyness, join other AFF panelists, as well as student storytellers, to talk about how we can bring young filmmakers into the process in ways that encourage and empower them.

This panel is presented by HBO and Cinema Ed.
