Greg has worked extensively on both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry. After graduating from the UCLA Law School and practicing entertainment law for two years, Greg worked for six years as vice-president of business affairs at Columbia and Tri-Star Pictures. Greg then enrolled in the film program at the American Film Institute where he earned an MFA degree in Film Directing and, far more importantly, met his wife and writing partner, Sara. Since leaving AFI, Greg has received writing credit on four films: "The Conspirator," which was directed by Robert Redford and which earned Greg the Humanitas Prize; "Trial and Error," which starred Charlize Theron, Michael Richards and Jeff Daniels; "Call Me Claus," which starred Whoopi Goldberg; and most recently “Official Secrets,” which will be released in 2019 and which stars Keira Knightley, Ralph Fiennes, Matt Smith, Matthew Goode and Rhys Ifans.

Greg is also wrote, "Understanding the Business of Entertainment; The Legal and Business Essentials All Filmmakers Should Know," published by Focal Press.

In 2003, Greg took a sabbatical from writing and entered the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he received a master’s degree in public administration. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Greg served as the assistant executive director of the Writers Guild of America, West from 2004 until 2006.

Greg also loves to teach and is currently an Associate Professor of Film at Arizona State University.
