In 2011, Jake co-founded Eastward Films with creative partner Jamie Young. Eastward has served as a platform for their own work but also the work of outside writers, directors, and producers. Since infancy Eastward has grown to a bi-coastal production company with offices in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. In 2018, Jake opened a dedicated Unscripted Development Department at Eastward bringing in industry veterans and filmmakers to create, direct, and produce feature and episodic programming for digital and broadcast platforms. While Jake continues to work on branded campaigns and heads up the unscripted development department of Eastward Films, he has documentaries slated for festival and digital release in both 2018 and 2019.
