Adam Kolbrenner is co-founder of Madhouse Entertainment, a literary management and production company based in Century City, CA. Since its inception in 2006, Madhouse has built its reputation on developing and producing the highest quality of writers and projects for both feature film and television. Most recently, Madhouse produced the feature film Prisoners for Warner Brothers and Alcon Entertainment starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal, among others; Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) directed. The National Board of Review named it Best Ensemble film of 2013 and it was nominated for an Academy Award for best cinematography from Roger Deakins. The film was written by Madhouse client Aaron Guzikowski. Additional Madhouse produced credits include: The Bounty Hunter, First Snow, Murder of a Cat, Blood Creek, and Dead Fall. Projects currently in development for Madhouse to produce include: American Rebel with Pascal Pictures, Atlantic Wall with Imperative Entertainment, Besties with Alcon Entertainment, The Fall with Amblin Partners, Free Guy with Berlanti Productions, and Slender Man with Mythology. Additional projects in development include: The Battle of New Orleans with Endurance Media, 12/24 with 1492 Pictures, Free Fall with Blumhouse Productions, Praetorian (f.k.a. Rome, Sweet Rome) at Warner Bros with Gianni Nunnari producing, The Bermuda Triangle at Warner Bros with Chuck Roven, Black Box at Universal Pictures with Scott Stuber, and The Day the Crayons Quit for Universal Animation based on the New York Times Bestseller.
On the television front, Madhouse produced four seasons of the award-winning comedy Call Me Fitz for HBO Canada and DirecTV. TV projects currently in development for Madhouse to produce include: Everest at USA with AlconTV, Scores with Gaumont Television, and Churchmen at Netflix. Additionally, Madhouse has The Ark at NBC with Robert Zemeckis’ ImageMovers.

On the management side, Madhouse represents some of the most sought after creators in the industry including: Justin Marks, writer of Disney's Jungle Book that Jon Favreau directed, as well as Top Gun 2 for Paramount, and Counterpart for Starz.
