Cylin Busby and Nanci Katz's first screenplay together, a horror/comedy titled Rebecca and Quinn Get Scared, was a finalist in the 2017 Austin Film Festival screenplay competition. Trish Sie (Pitch Perfect 3) is now attached to direct and Donald DeLine (Ready Player One) is producing.They are represented at UTA and currently at work on their third screenplay as a writing team, a female revenge thriller, Self Defense.Cylin Busby is the best-selling author of the acclaimed true- crime memoir, The Year We Disappeared, which was featured on CBS 48 Hours, and optioned for a feature film by Penchant Entertainment. Her YA novel, The Stranger Game, is in development for TV with Freeform’s Paul Stupin (Dawson’s Creek/ Switched at Birth).
