ELLEN WINTER is a Brooklyn based performer, composer and playwright from the woods of Northern Virginia. In 2017, she co-wrote/directed/composed
36 Questions with Chris Littler, a musical podcast in three acts produced by Two-Up, starring Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton. Together, they've embarked on the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat and SPACE on Ryder Farm’s residency program this past year. In addition to her original work, she’s had the joy of being on the creative teams of Dave Malloy, César Alvarez, the Bengsons, and Heather Christian. She’s performed in venues all over New York such as Rough Trade, The Knitting Factory, The Tank, various Sofar Sounds shows, Ars Nova, and Joe’s Pub. Since 2013, she’s belted and written with Chamber Band, and together they have three records and three national tours under their belts. Currently, she’s in the throes of post-production for her debut solo album,
Every Feeling. She and Chris are also a part of Ars Nova's Makers Lab this year where they're developing their next podcast musical, a thriller called
