SILENT R MANAGEMENT founder Jewerl Ross grew up in Los Angeles and left Southern California to study philosophy at Yale. After graduating, Ross returned to L.A. to work in entry-level positions at ICM and Paradigm. Ross was an agent for three years at a boutique agency and later a manager for 4 years at a small management company. In 2006, Ross founded SILENT R MANAGEMENT.
Some of SILENT R MANAGEMENT’s director clients include: Academy Award winner Barry Jenkins, the writer and director of Moonlight for A24 and Brad Pitt’s Plan B. Moonlight was nominated for 8 Academy Awards and won 3 (Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor). Barry is currently in production on If Beale Street Could Talk for Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures. French auteur Robin Campillo, the writer and director of BPM (Beats Per Minute).  BPM (Beats Per Minute) premiered at Cannes in 2017 winning the Grand Prix and receiving widespread critical acclaim (98% on Rotten Tomatoes).  It has since won six César Awards (the French version of the Academy Awards), including Best Film and Best Original Screenplay.  It also won the Best Foreign Language Film from the New York Film Critics Circle along with near 100 other awards worldwide.  Brad Buecker, executive producer and director on American Horror Story on FX and executive producer and director on 9-1-1 on Fox, both for Ryan Murphy Television. Buecker also directed the 9-1-1 pilot.  Buecker is currently under an overall deal at Twentieth Century Fox. Steven Piet & Erik Crary, director and producer on all six episodes of season 2 for Syfy and UCP. Piet and Crary’s film, Uncle John premiered in competition at the SXSW. Piet & Crary are currently directing and producing on the George RR Martin series, Nightflyers for Syfy. Avant Garde filmmaker Patrick Wang, director of The Grief of Others.  The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and SXSW. Wang is currently in post-production on his next film, A Bread Factory.
Some of SILENT R MANAGEMENT’s writer clients include: Matthew Aldrich, writer of Coco for Pixar Animation Studios.  The film was released to rave reviews (97% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes), has since grossed over $800 million dollars worldwide, and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.  Aldrich also wrote Opening Belle for Warner Bros. and Reese Witherspoon and Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses which Warner Bros. purchased in a bidding war for Matt Damon.  Jack Stanley, writer of the original pilot, Perfect Girl, which sold to Amazon, and the original feature scripts, Possession: A Love Story and SweetheartPossession has had Anne Hathaway circling, and Sweetheart has had Blake Lively and director Patty Jenkins circling.  Both scripts were on “The Black List.” Jack is currently re-writing Lou for Paramount, Bad Robot and director Anna Foerster. Our Lady J, writer and producer on Transparent for Amazon Studios and Pose for FX and Ryan Murphy Television. Evan Endicott, writer and producer for Into the Badlands for AMC and Warrior for Cinemax, Justin Lin and Jonathan Tropper. Hannah Schneider, writer and executive producer of the original pilot script, Homecoming. The pilot is set up at Showtime after a bidding war that included several cable, network, and streaming suitors.
