Macon Blair is a screenwriter, actor, and director who lives in Austin, Texas. His directorial debut, I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore won the 2017 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Award. He wrote the screenplay adaptation for Jeremy Saulnier's new film, Hold the Dark, based on the novel by William Geraldi, and also adapted Dave Zeltzerman's novel Small Crimes with E.L. Katz. His acting credits include Saulnier's Blue Ruin and Green Room, as well as The Florida Project, Logan Lucky, and Gold. He has a second film (The Shitheads) and a graphic novel (Long Road To Liquor City) scheduled for 2019.
