Meta Valentic began her career as the youngest member of the DGA Assistant Director's Training Program. Her assistant director credits include Nixon, Castle, Lost, Bones, and the Emmy and Golden Globe winning musical comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Meta has produced 5 independent feature films, including the critically acclaimed Urbania, which played the Sundance and Toronto film festivals and was released by Lionsgate. She recently executive produced The Donors, a female driven comedy web series for Kevin Hart’s LOL network and Lionsgate. Meta helps filmmakers develop and execute production budgets and schedules for projects budgeted between $500k and $20 million. Meta was selected as a Producer’s Guild Diversity Workshop Fellow, and a Sundance Film Financing Intensive Fellow. She is a judge and conference panelist at the annual Austin Film Festival. Meta is active in the Producers Guild of America. She co-chairs the Mentorship Committee, which administers over 100 producer-to-producer mentorships each year. She is involved in the PGA Women's Impact Network, which seeks to increase the power and visibility of female producers and filmmakers.
