Peter Clowney is Executive Editor at Midroll Media. He edits documentary series like Heaven's Gate, The Dream and Dear Franklin Jones, fiction projects like Wolverine: The Long Night, and weekly series like The Longest Shortest Time. Previously, Peter was Head Editor at Gimlet Media, editing Reply All and StartUp. He spent many years in public radio, editing shows like Studio 360 and Marketplace and documentaries for American Radio Works. Peter got his start cutting interviews for Fresh Air, and was one of the three original producers of This American Life. Peter’s earned two Peabody awards and two Third Coast Festival awards, alongside other honors. His goal is always to help people make their best work, in their own voice. Peter is originally from Philly, now lives in Minnesota with his family, and comes to NY and LA often.
